Driving Routes
|
|
Driving from the NORTH:
Travel south from Limoges on the motorway A20-E9. Leave at Junction 55,
direction Souillac. There is a toll/peage prior to leaving at Junction 55 south.
(The toll in 2008 has been 1 euro 80 cents.) Enter Souillac, on the D703, then
follow the D820 towards Cahors. Approximately 15 kilometres south, you will reach
the village of Payrac. Pass through Payrac and on leaving, just after passing
a 70 kilometre de-Restriction sign, there are two very minor turnings to the right.
The first is marked as Le Colombier, followed in 50 metres by a Camy
sign. The Camy sign is very small. Turn right at the Camy sign and
follow the road downhill to, on your left, a church where there is a T-junction.
Turn right at the junction on to the D129, which you follow for 400 metres, passing
a small cemetery on your left. The road then turns right at a small junction and over
a small river bridge. Do not cross over the bridge. Just prior to the bridge, go
straight on, along the narrow lane, and "Les Parroutoux" is just on the
left-hand side, our name LEES is on the post box.
Driving from the SOUTH:
Travel north from Cahors on the D820, towards Souillac. Payrac
is 48 kilometres north of Cahors. Five kilometres before reaching Payrac,
you will pass, on your left, the D673 junction to Gourdon, followed by the
hamlet of La Seguinie. Approximately 500 metres after this village, on the
left, is a industrial unit "Ferronier". At this point, there is a small turning
to the left, to Camy. The sign is very small, and is not clear. Turn left
at the Camy sign, and follow the road downhill to, on your left, a church
where there is a T-junction. Turn right at the junction on to the D129, which you
follow for 400 metres, passing a small cemetery on your left. The road then turns
right at a small junction and over a small river bridge. Do not cross over the bridge.
Just prior to the bridge, go straight on, along the narrow lane, and "Les Parroutoux"
is just on the left-hand side, our name LEES is on the post box.
